Unique Challenges and Opportunities for Business Schools in Pursuing Federal Research Grants

The J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and the National Science Foundation were pleased to host business school deans from leading universities across the country for a one-day workshop of discussion, debate, and discovery. The event comprised a series of discussions focusing on the challenges and opportunities business schools face in pursuing federal research grants. Discussions addressed the unique strengths/assets that business schools possess for obtaining funding, barriers and challenges that interfere with getting grants, strategies and best practices for pursuing grants, and ideas for future business school-NSF coordination.Download the workshop report
